Shiny Coat:

The shiny coat of an animal is generally a reflection of its health and well-being.

For human or aninals, the skin is the biggest organ in the body and we are all aware that proper nutrition is essential for healthy organs.

Constant exposure to chemicals, dietary or multiple environmental stresses are continuously playing a massive role in the deterioration of the skin's health of our four legged friends. Animals' skin do require protection and help, to repair and rebuild damaged tissues. It is now very common to have animals with various forms of skin cancers, suffering from eczema or human-like skin's conditions.

1 - Protecting the skin:
Monoi de Tahiti has a proven track record to protect the skin with extensive reports of the benefits it has provided as an insect repellent (minimizing the sweet itch issues and other midges or mosquitoes related issues).

2 - Repairing damaged keratin fibers:
Monoi de Tahiti is also well known for its reparative properties on the damaged keratin fibers, which strengthen the hair, making it shinier and smoother.

3 - Treating the nasties:

To obtain the maximum benefit for a shiny coat we recommend to have the oil applied to the coat and left for minimum of 2 hours (for the animals). The application of the Monoi de Tahiti, should be done a week prior to the animal going on shows.
Monoi de Tahiti can be left on your animal for 24 hours or longer specially if you are treating your animal for fleas, ticks of trying to assist in cases of sweet itch or as an insect repellent.
Make sure you wash the treated coat of your animal a week prior to any show, so the coat had the chance to remove dead skin, damaged cells, moisturize the skin and hair fibers and repair to be noticed on the new growth.

If you are preparing your animal for a show we strongly advise you to experiment with the timing of application and achievement of the required results, so you do not get caught and being disappointed on the day.
